ABC Little Schools offer additional enrichment classes in Music, Computers, Dance and Movement, Gymnastics, Sports and Science. Programs differ per location.
Music class is in addition to the daily music activities the children participate in through out the week in their classroom. This is Music “Class”! Our Music teacher shares the love of music with the children each week with exploration through song, finger plays, instrument activities and more. In Music class the children are involved in many aspects of music including melody, tempo and tone.

I have three children attend ABC Little School with the fourth beginning in a few weeks. ABC has been an absolutely wonderful experience. Mrs. Jessica effectively leads her group of teachers in creating a learning environment that foster positivity and a strong sense of self no matter what the situation the kids come from. I can't even begin to go into all the extra's that the school provides as far as extracurricular activities and artistic programs, but I encourage any parent looking for quality learning experience to check out ABC!

Dance and Movement class offers children the opportunity to express themselves through dance. This class involves teaching basic tap, ballet and jazz dance steps incorporated in a free movement environment.
Gymnastics class offers the children the activities of stretching, bending and balancing. These classes are ways children can understand and learn how their body can move. Gymnastics also develops strong self-esteem and pride; it allows children to develop their independence and self-abilities.
In computer class children learn the proper way to use the computer understanding the arrow keys, letter keys, mouse and space bar. Learning games are inserted into the computer, which help teach children how to use the computer skills they have acquired and also reinforce academic skills taught in class.
Sports class helps children learn teamwork, taking turns, supporting each other and self-confidence. Learning to work, as a team is a life long skill that will enhance your child’s social skills and cooperation along with building friendships. In sports class children are involved in sports basics, learning about softball, basketball, and soccer.
Karate Class is the high tech “chip chop” course that children love! In Karate the lessons are taught in a non-aggressive manner and also cover stranger and animal safety an essential part of your child’s awareness of their surroundings.
Hands on Science class… children become real scientists, doing real experiments. Each week is a new discovery for the children. Totally participatory, totally fun!
Field trips are planned through out the school year as an extension of learning outside the classroom. Children travel by school bus to many exciting events and museums some of which include: The Natural History Museum, The Los Angeles Science Center, and The Aquarium of the Pacific. Field trips make learning fun and broaden a child’s awareness of the world around them!
